Sadness is when
someone you trust,
lies to you or
goes behind your back.

Sadness is when
you find out
someone you love,
actually hates you.

Sadness is when
you want to help
someone in need,
but there isn't a way
for you to help.

Sadness is when
plans get canceled,
plans you've been looking forward to
forever.

Sadness is when
someone leaves,
perhaps forever,
and you never had the chance
to say good-bye.
